Freshman
Applicants
- Completed
application with the $35 application fee.
- Official
high school transcript with a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Applicants
having earned a GED must submit official results of the test scores.
(A minimum of a 55 composite is required.)
- The American
College Test (ACT) or Scholastics Aptitude Test (SAT) scores. (If
GED is submitted, SAT or ACT are not required.)
- Minimum
ten-piece portfolio. Actual work is preferred. Applicants outside
the 250- mile radius, or whose actual work is not available, may submit
slides.
- Personal
interview if you live within a 250-mile radius; otherwise a telephone
interview is acceptable.
Applicants
who are unable to meet these requirements are encouraged to complete
one full-time semester or quarter (minimum of 12 semester credit hours)
in a general liberal arts program at an accredited college or through
the CCS Extension Program and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average
prior to seeking admission. Occasionally students are considered for
admission on a conditional basis after an interview and careful review
of the portfolio and academic information.
