As an artist, you want to share your work, display it, discuss it, maybe even sell it. We'll give you plenty of opportunity to do all of these. Student work is always on display-in the hallways, on studio walls and in numerous exhibits.

The spring CCS Student Exhibition is one of the Detroit area's most anticipated art happenings, drawing thousands of art patrons and members of the media to campus. In 1998, students sold more than $105,000 in artwork during the two-week show-with all proceeds going directly to the student artists.

Center Galleries, the CCS exhibition forum, offers exhibit space for experimental works by faculty, alumni and nationally prominent artists. This facility includes the student-run Underground 245 Gallery, which runs exhibitions of student work throughout the year. Many Detroit galleries and exhibitions spaces also show the works of CCS students.
